February Well Being | Heart-Healthy Fats

February 9, 2015 @ 11:30 am - 1:00 pm

Join us this week as we celebrate healthy hearts, and learn more about the different dietary fats that affect heart health!

Heart disease is the leading cause of death in the US, and one way to combat it is by learning hot to incorporate more delicious, heart-healthy fats in your diet. This month we’re highlighting how your well being is supported year-round in the cafes by consistently offering meals that include moderate amounts of healthy fats such as olive oil, fatty fish, nuts/nut oils, seeds/seed oils, and avocado whenever possible.

Our Genentech resident Registered Dietitian Lulu Cook will be on site to discuss the various heart-healthy fats that are available, and how to incorporate them into your diet for better well-being.
