La Cocina featuring Alicia’s Tamales

For centuries, women have been at the epicenter of food culture across the globe – though they haven’t always been acknowledged for their contributions. Join us to celebrate International Women’s Week with the aspiring (and inspiring) food entrepreneur, Alicia Villanueva.

The cafe will be serving vegetable and chicken tamales, as served in “Alicia’s Tamales Los Mayas” and inspired by her mami and abuelita’s recipes in her hometown of Mazatlán, Mexico.
